Retirement 101

Retirement 101
is an educational program offering information vital to employees
approaching the transition to retirement. The instructor introduces the participants to
the planning process and then, over four sessions, pieces together the elements that make
up a solid retirement/financial plan. The primary objective of the program is to address
the many concerns of people preparing for retirement.
The course concludes with an optional planning consultation that allows the attendees
to focus on the specifics of their own situation. The consultation produces a
comprehensive financial plan, offering the attendees an objective view of their position.
Weaknesses are pointed out and planning opportunities are identified.
The program is geared to people who intend to retire in the next ten years.
